In ancient Egyptians fashion, the upper class such as nobles and pharaohs wore clothes that were made out of robes of white linen and sandals made of feathers. While lower class such as peasants and farmers wore clothes that were made out of robes of dark cotton or woven reeds sandals.
MAKE - UP AND JEWELRY Make - up Both men and woman wore make up in ancient Egypt. They usually wear black and dark blue eyeliner, the eyeliner was usually made out of kohl. The eye shadow was often blue or green, the lip colors were mostly orange, red, blue - black, magenta, these colors were popular to the ancient Egyptian women. Ancient Egyptians often braid their hair because they believed that braided hair could frame the face a little bit. Ancient Egyptians loved fragrances and perfumes, the world's most highly prized perfume of the ancient world came from Egypt. Jewelry Children, men and woman wore jewelry in ancient Egypt. The jewelry were made out of different materials such as gemstones, copper, gold wires, colored glass beads. Most of the jewelries were colorful and beautiful; they were made by skilled craftsmen. Wide collars were popular, as well as earrings, rings and bracelets. The ancient Egyptians normally wear jewelry at the wrist, upper arm and around the ankle. Upper class would usually wear beautiful, fancy jewelry made out of gold, silver and other gemstones. |
